The 2009 Fort Koshkonong Rendezvous theme is "Handcrafted on the Frontier". Interested demonstrators and re-enactors who would like to display handtrades of the early 1800's as well as militia, fur-traders, campers, traders, food vendors are encouraged to contact the Fort Atkinson Chamber at tourism@fortchamber.com or 1-888-SEE-FORT.

The dates of the 2009 event are Friday, May 22nd through Sunday, May 24th. Friday is open to school children only. Saturday is open to the general public from 9am-5pm and Sunday from 9am-4pm. Entry fees into the event are $4 for adults and $2 for children. This is a wonderful opportunity to step back in time to view life as it was on the frontier. . .see firsthand the challenges the pioneers faced and the skills that were necessary to survive in the 1820s and 1830s. Sample the food, buy the trade goods and view live demonstrations. This unique annual event is held each Memorial Day weekend at the Rock River Park in Fort Atkinson.
